Only 2 stars on Allmusic and a few scathing “reviews” on Amazon suggests it’s not their best effort. Have I missed something? Sounds just fine to me. The incredible standards they set with “Northern Sulphuric Soul” is an impossible benchmark to repeat. This is still superb.
