The moment I pushed the small, shiny, bit-encoded, digital data storage format, optical disc into my optical drive transport and digital analogue conversion mechanism, I instantly realised “Fuck this is good!”

I bought this a couple of years ago on the strength of my love of the band “Field Music” and the Brewis brothers. This was a side project of one of the Brewis siblings from Sunderland, Peter.

I had never played it until this afternoon. My belated enjoyment of this brilliant record is a real treat. At my age, that’s a rarity. My new favourite record (for the moment)
