Brian Eno And David Byrne - My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts (1981)
Astounding collaboration between two greats. Profound and genre bending - personally, I don’t think it will ever be matched for it’s daring.
commentsI had a big preference for British punk and new wave around that time and this evolved into electronic abrasiveness and the intentionally (very) unconventional.
This record really fucked me up though as it was all of those things in one extraordinary cacophony of found sounds, electronic flurries, very clever cut-up and funky bass lines.
It still remains untouchable for sheer audacity and originality.

commentsTHEME = Fire/ hot/ warm for each round. ( if you’re struggling, I’ll accept cold/ icy/ freezing, but you’ll definitely lose points!)
