Nathan's Session - Mar 2025
The first of (hopefully) many more sessions at Nathan’s started with a party - we heard everything from Nana Mouskouri through to Einstürzende Neubauten.
commentsWhile definitely sounding like it was made in the early 80’s (it was!) this record is testament to good songwriting, not quirky, clever production (which it also has).
It’s an incredibly dark record lyrically, but that heavy load is mitigated by some of the poppiest and hookiest music imaginable.
This is one terrific album.

commentsWe explored Japanese music (or at least music vaguely inspired by or related to Japan), with a brief diversion to celtic music, and admired Martin’s lutherie skills.
