Alison Shaw’s love-it-or-hate-it voice is sometimes at odds with the controlled power of one of the tightest bands you’ll ever hear. They toured with The Cure in their earliest days (1992, and post-Disintegration) and it really shows.
DavidOne of the finds of my recent trip to Wellington was this amazing record. Very tastefully remastered, individually numbered and pressed on gold and black vinyl, it is physically, visually and sonically a thing of great beauty.
