Iggy Pop - The Idiot (1977)
Bowie’s all over this. While “Low” was the high mark of his career, he lent an almighty hand to the Iguana’s rehabilitation at the same time.

While “The Idiot” was my introduction to Iggy Pop, and it remains one of my great musical signposts, “Lust For Life” was a far more musical and ultimately enjoyable record. The single “Lust For Life” was also the star of the soundtrack from the film “Trainspotting”.
The band is exceptional, with Soupy’s sons, Tony and Hunt Sales on rhythm section and Carlos Arlomar on guitar.

commentsWe welcomed in the New Year with a slew of songs and a frozen yoghut treat, and commiserated with Chris on the loss of his cabbage tree and fridge.
