I love a good compilation. Not appreciated so much at the time of purchase - appreciating it right now!

I’ve just spent the last week or so travelling up North between Wellington and Hawkes Bay. After giving up hope of finding any decent stand-alone records shops I found an amazing little treasure trove in Waipawa, Central Hawkes Bay.

Various Artists - Chee Shimizu "More Better Days" (2016)

This is an absolutely fabulous compilation of Japanese rock, electronic and fringe dwelling music from the 1980s. Impossible to find the conventional way, (but I’ll keep looking), this is courtesy of a subscribed lossless website.
