Picked up in London for about £2 or $3.80 in NZ currency. That’s a lot of great music for less than a cup of coffee.

Brian Eno And David Byrne - My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts (1981)
Astounding collaboration between two greats. Profound and genre bending - personally, I don’t think it will ever be matched for it’s daring.

The Associates - The Affectionate Punch (1980)
Very rowdy and abrasive (in small measures), exquisitely delicate and engaging (in bigger measures) and left field (completely). This is 1980 folks.

Sonic Youth - Evol (1986)
This album was probably the starting point for me when music shifted from an Anglo-centric template (The Smiths, The Cure, The Bunnymen) to a much richer and wider aural palate and gave me a greater appreciation of American bands.
