Cabaret Voltaire - The Crackdown (1983)
This really was the “band” that shocked me out of any lethargy following the mid-70s/early-80s punk/post-punk correction. This is the epitome of no-wave.

I LOVE this! While it’s really Richard H. Kirk’s baby now, Stephen Mallinder now long departed, this really truly sounds likes a new Cabs record.
